Be a Weed…

The other day I was driving down the highway admiring the pretty blue Chicory and Queen Anne’s Lace growing in the ditches when I started thinking about the characteristics that make these weeds a weed. They are resilient, determined, hardy, thriving in almost any condition. Then it hit me – I admired these weeds! Couldn’t many of us benefit from being more like a weed? (at least these traits?) I know I could! I propose the next time you notice a weed, either while you are driving or dealing with them up-close, pause; admire them; and resolve to “Be a Weed.”
